A pretty neat site. what people have to understand is their is a lot of teens and up people that don't fit in with the "mundane" mainstream cliques like Preps, jocks etc. "Night people" or "gothy" types don't have many mascots or "trademark" characters. What iconic cartoon, comic book, movie icons do gothy types have???

Not many. Maybe Batman and The Crow?Emily Strange is a neat and irreverent "mascot" and "tradmark" brand of stuff for teens & up gothy-types.

Maintream pop-cultuture has Micky Mouse, Spiderman, Paris Hilton, Hilary Duff, crappy boy bands, Hello Kitty, and other stuff.

Those that don't really "get it" need to back off, calm down, mind their own business, and let those that are "different" develop their own styles, as well as their own "different" commercial trademarks and mascots to use how they want.
