You've seen him play the Mario Bros.
tunes.
But check him out playing John Lennon's 'Imagine' backwards!
tunes.

Re: The Blindfolded Pianist
learning to play a song backwards is absolutely no harder than learning to play it forward.
Re: The Blindfolded Pianist
Learning to play blindfolded can't be much different than playing the tune by ear rather than reading sheet music! ;-)

Re: The Blindfolded Pianist
it's not.
I play guitar...can read music, but usually don't need it.
Put just about ANY sheet for guitar in front of me, forward or backward, and it can be played.

you didn't even watch the video, did you?
he doesn't play the sheetmusic backwards. he's standing backwards in front of the piano.

Re:
yes, I did....the sheet music comment was in referance to Spammie's comment about playing blindfolded.
Playing 'backwards' is not that tough...I don't play the keys, but I have a good friend that does and he watched the clip with me and then played several songs that way...he then told me it was no harder than learning something forwards. (And while my friend is very good at piano/keyboard, it is not something he does everyday anymore so it's not like he's practiced it or anything)
