Re: Word Egg
Actual scrambled words and their answers as given by the game:
NUKH: Could the word be "hunk"? NO! It's "kuhn"! What the hell is "kuhn"?!
ARED: Is it "read"? "dear"? "dare"? Only one of them is right. Useless!!
AEMB: Would that be "beam"? WRONG! It's "bema"! BEMA?!
NOIG: Is there a 4-letter word that fits these letters? Apparently "gino." Of course. It's in the dictionary right after BEMA!
ENSTC: How about "scent"? That seems reasonable. NOPE! It's "csnet". Apparently I'm not up on my FAKE COMPUTER JARGON.
GUNAD: As if I haven't tortured myself enough, this one turned out to be "dugan". What? It wasn't BEMA?!
NIBLN: It's "blinn". Blinn, people, BLINN!
Some words from the 6-letter round, enough to confuse and puzzle even the most advanced linguists:
Curlew. Acumen. Finial. Phloem. Dopant. Scoria. Lysine. Avocet (not octave).
That's enough, I quit. I'm going to go drive some people crazy at a game of SCRABBLE.

Re: Word Egg
Thanx for documenting how frustrating the thing is. But the good part? No points detracted for submitting a 'wrong' answer. I had stumbled across this in my travels and just thought it slightly above a 'stinker' in M&C categories. ;-)
