Woodstock's unexamined enthusiasm for Turkey is only one of the strange moments in this special.
They were really kind of bizarre creations, truly ecelectic impulses at odds with each other -- the jazzy tunes and watercolor backgrounds, the deadpan ironic dialogue dampened by the voiceovers of deadly earnest children with no sense of irony at all.
A real cultural artifiact. 5 stars for nostalgia and the nearly universal, ubiquitous role they played of those who grew up in the 70s and early 80s.
