Re: Daily Show: For Fox Sake!
I like listening to Fox news on occasion just to see what crazy shit they're talking about. It can be entertaining if I'm in the right mindset.
Come on John, kids singing about obama is a little bit creepy and indoctrinatish. Don't act like it's not.

Ya but he's like one of the founding father's though. That makes it creepy-free.

Re: Daily Show: For Fox Sake!
Not a founding father, but discoverer. It's okay to sings about him for historical purposes. I didn't sing about Regan or JFK in school.

Re: Daily Show: For Fox Sake!
I guess they could've had a school performance for Black History Month in which they sang about Booker T. Washington and Michael Jordan, but not the guy who just got elected President of the United States of America a couple of weeks earlier.
Maybe that would be a bit less creepy. I don't know.

Re: Daily Show: For Fox Sake!
Really. Obama is elected president and then you have to write a song for the Black History month song: who are you going to put in the song? "Well I'd put Obama, someone who is most likely going to be an important historical figure in the future... but I really gotta make sure I get the peanut butter guy in here."

I dunno. Black people are pretty proud of him so maybe just let them have their moment without bitchin. :)

Re: Daily Show: For Fox Sake!
With us not bitching that is. Sounded racist for a moment.
