Re: Hardball: Rep. Alan Grayson On Healthcare And Courage
here in canada we had a very similar debate concerning socialised healthcare. as a child, tommy douglas suffered from a condition in his leg that required surgery to fix or he would lose his leg. his parents could not afford the procedure, but a doctor who could fix it was curious about the condition and did it for free. his leg was saved. later in life, he became the premier of saskatchewan and because of his previous experience with healthcare for profit, he was determined to usher in healthcare for all in his province. the doctors went on strike, they hated the idea. mr. douglas kept to his guns and prevailed. then later, the idea was moved nationwide. it took time and small moves for this to work.

Alright, we get it, Grayson "stood up" to the republicans and contributed nothing substantial to the debate other than name-calling and partisan hackery. This is just some Sarah Palin kind-of shit.

I guess you should post videos of what everyone else contributed then.

"Alright, we get it..." was more directed at Chris Matthews and his acolytes. keep posting to your heart's intent.

Poon calling somebody else "partisan", now that's irony.
