Objectively? No. But then, nothing really matters. Does it matter to me personally? Yes. Do I really care if the identity of the person is known to me? Not really, but I think of you as an integral part of the community, and it is really disheartening to think about the possibility that you would divest your energy and enthusiasm. It seems to me that if you know who the heinous vote-vigilante is, you may be less likely to see the M&C community at large as hostile, you'll be less likely to take it personally.

I really love Milk And Cookies. I love the community. Many of the people here feel far more like real friends than real friends I have, and I am by no means an unsocial person. I'm pessimistic of late, perhaps because the days are shorter, maybe because I know cloudier days are ahead, but I get a great deal of comfort and solace from my involvement with this site. I guess I'm indignant at the very idea of someone who would work to damage something that means so much to me and many other people so arbitrarily, and if they were to succeed in alienating you, Spam, it would be pretty depressing.

Yeah Spam, don't give up the faith. You know that other than the voting system, this community offers some very straightforward and honest dialogue about the real things that matter today. Whoever is fucking with the votes, thats their karma to deal with, but we will continue to share thoughts, ideas, and opinions with each other for the end that we will become better people when the day is done.

It seems to me that whenever a good thing, concept, or essence crops up, some evil entity will attack it. M&C is definitely something good for the world, so it will be put under siege. But we are the guardsmen on the wall, defending against the onslaught of bullshit, deceit, and chaos (very applicable in this case). Because some jackass is being deliberately malicious or just thinks hes funny, its our job to keep posting, keep voting, and keep discussing.

Open dialogue and mutual thought sharing is one of the best ways that we can fix the world, even with such a small medium as the M&C community, we are contributing to something bigger than we can really understand.
