Nice vid. The time lapse and blurring effects makes the boats look like toys.

This one is edited (admitted by the creator), but I am talking in general. I just want to figure out benefits of tilt shift lenses (except the obvious one: doesn’t require post editing to achieve that effect).

It's done with post-production digital editing. Looks like Smallgantics to me.

Sorry to be a downer, but is any one else finding these tilt-shift videos to be a bit gimmicky? The first time I saw one it was cool, now each successive video seems less and less unique from the previous one.
