Not Working?
This is Representative Alan Grayson asking Federal Reserve General Councel Scott Alvarez if the Fed has ever manipulated the stock market. A simple enough question, one would think; but answering any question is hard if you're sitting on a mountain of lies, like Alvarez here.

Re: Rep. Alan Grayson: Representing the People
Oh snap.
"Do you mind if we have a GAO audit?"
"GAO audits government agencies, and you want an audit of a private entity?" (Scott Alvarez, General Counsel, Federal Reserve - 4:00)
How many circular arguments have we had here at M&C helping troll apologists understand that the Fed is a private organization?
Hmm... Good thing the Fed's own General Counsel has finally clarified it. :) Guess it's time to call our Reps and tell 'em we want the GAO to audit the Fed. I'll be calling on Monday...
Nice clip, W_W.

Re: Rep. Alan Grayson: Representing the People
the federal reserve has been nothing but a means to burden the american taxpayers with more responsibility and debt. it doesnt further economic growth, unless you consider paper growth to be relevant. real growth has pretty much stagnated. its time for something new.
