As I was saying; (M&C mode:On) Prairie dogs are known as a ‘keystone species’. Over 160 vertebrates alone are associated with prairie dog colonies, and over 80 on towns from 3-30 acres.

My buddy has a pair of prairie dogs. They're the most sociable, affectionate little critters I've ever encountered. They love having their bellies rubbed.
