The Cathedral (Polish: Katedra) is the title of a science fiction short story by Jacek Dukaj, winner of the Janusz A. Zajdel Award in 2000; and of a 2002 short animated movie by Tomasz Bagi?ski, based on the story. The film was nominated in 2002 for the Academy Award for Animated Short Film for the 75th Academy Awards. The movie won the title of Best Animated Short at Siggraph 2002 in San Antonio as well as several other awards.
The movie, made in 3ds max, focuses on a man who visits a mystical, organic building that looks like a medieval cathedral. As he walks through the immense structure, the light from his torch falls upon the pillars, revealing human faces.

Re: Katedra
I thought this was a duplicate when I watched it.

Re: Katedra
Indeed, a duplicate. Let's get credit to Dose for this. Although his link was also a headline and has about 30 times more hits.
Hmm. How to correct? May I suggest taking mine down as rejected and placing his back up as a flashback?

Re: Katedra
As always, I first watched the video and then read the comments; but, as usual, I also voted before reading any comments. Thus, I gave ***** for this video, but found out later (when reading the comments) it is a duplicate.
Again, I see the duplicate issue hasn't been resolved, even though I plucked this video right out of The Best of the Week (which should really be called Most Popular of the Week).
Of course, all of us (except Jaxon) lack the authority to address the issue properly.
I can't judge for others, but the absence of justice in these matters bodes ill. I (for one) don't like duplicates all over the place. Even one duplicate is a thorn in my eye.
Make of that what you will.
(To be sure, the posting of dupes is something that can't be avoided even with the best intentions. I do not accuse anyone of deliberately posting dupes.)
