Re: Tarantino's Top 20 Movies Since 1992
LOL, Tarantino's funny.

He's right on with Battle Royale and I just had to laugh when he said Matrix used to be his number 2 because I knew exactly what he was going to say next. Serves him right for watching number 3, he should have known better after seeing reloaded. It was clear at the end of the first movie that the end of the story had been reached and reloaded just confirmed that.

Also gotta give him props for Lost In Translation although that's a lot easier find than Battle Royal.

However all that said, there was an omission from his list that I doubt would be missing if he had seen it:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0393109/

The Matrix became my number 2 after seeing it.

Another one that possibly (although far less of a sure thing) would have ended up on his list: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0810988/

Gotta check out all of those on the list that I haven't seen. Btw Pantufas, you should really list those movies as he said them (ie. with the director's name), because there is more than likely a few movies with the same name.

Re: Tarantino's Top 20 Movies Since 1992
i'm already suing tarantino for ripping off my ideas of reinvigorating david carradine's career(for my now-classic community t.v sketch citizen cain),using the music of the 5678s(in my cult classic midnight beat) and now m.night shamalamadindong? i've been calling him that for years! oh well, at least he hasn't ripped off my war comedy saving private ryan:the special edition. by the way, what's his next project?

Yeah, Quentin is a true talent, but he's the guy/girl you knew in high school that liked to be different just for the sake of it. There is no question that Speed was decent at best, by any standard, and not seriously one of the best movies since 1992. He's got a right to his opinion, but the fact that we hang on his every word is silly.

There are movies I like that aren't necessarily good overall, but have aspects that you don't see in other movies. Example: I think Phone Booth was a very interesting movie.

Yeah, I would agree with you on that. I always remember "The Game" for instance. And "Memento" and for some reason "Broken Flowers". All decent movies, I think, though not among the best 20 I've seen since 1992. I never saw "Phone Booth", though I wanted to.
