Not Working?
Charles L. Lynch, proprietor of a legal medical marijuana dispensary in California faces 85 years in prison.
From Randi -
Understand this: I heartily endorse and accept marijuana use for medical purposes; research has clearly shown that it works efficiently in that role, and brings comfort and relief to the suffering. As a result of this stated conditional acceptance, I have been approached by those who advocate general use of the substance on the same level that tobacco enjoys. Generally, this makes sense to me, except that if its use were to bring with it the same dreadful health penalties that accompany tobacco, I would be reluctant to accept that. I am not a drug user, I have never even been inebriated. That is my personal choice, and I feel that other persons should also enjoy freedom of choice, even if taxes are imposed on that freedom in order to legislate it; I dont want out-of-control drivers threatening my safety, for example.
Drugs are not for me. I wish that my friends would not use them. Case closed

Re: James Randi Speaks on Medical Marijuana
I would think James Randi would notice the wool over our eyes about cannabis safety compared to tobacco and alcohol, after all, Carl Sagan was an avid and responsible cannabis user.
Cannabis is much safer then tobacco smoke when a vaporizer is used. with the current illigality of cannabis vaporizers are harder to get a hold of.

1. Nicotine
2. Heroin
3. Cocaine
4. Alcohol
5. Caffeine
6. Marijuana
Caffeine is often times the first gateway drug used. its people lieing about the negative effects of cannabis that would lead them to believe theyve been lied to about other substances once cannabis is used.
I must say that cannabis is not safe for a developing mind. It should be regulated by someone requiring ID instead of a shady dealer who may push them into harder substances.
the human brain stops developing in the mid 20, make it legal for 26+
deaths by marijuana doesn't exist unless your the Nixon administration willing to suffocate a monkey by forcing 35 joints worth of high grade cannabis smoke on them in 5 minute time with a gas mask.
