Baldy is a hairless raccoon that lives in our back yard. She is at least 3 years old. I think she has some form of Alopecia.

Our neighbour says that she started losing her hair about two years ago and has since had at least one litter of babies. (Do raccoons have litters?)

Our landlord's wife feeds her dog food along with the rest of the raccoons and every stray cat in our neighborhood. It'd probably bother me more if Baldy didn't come around to eat!

She seems to have been making her way around Parkdale this summer as there has been many sightings, but this is a first-hand account of my boyfriend meeting Baldy for the first time. (Until that day he didn't believe me that there was a bald raccoon living in our back yard!)
