depends on the anime. some are intentionally funny, others are funny only because they are so absurd in premise. kinda like how "normal" movies work.

I saw this when it was aired. I'm really glad they chose a classic I could relate to. It's a lot funnier when you've seen the original.

agreed, funniest shit I've seen on this site for a year.

For those interested, The Matrix was based off of Ghost in the Shell. Not to say they have the same plot.
