Always happy to see people talking about this instead of shouting.
But really, isn't it the same old, same old when it comes down to it? It's a personal decision, really.

Agreed, I like that they're being respectful. But as to it being a personal decision, is it? I don't make conscious decisions to believe or not believe things. I look into things, look at the evidence but I say "I'm going to believe this or not believe that", it happens independently of conscious thought. I couldn't just decide to believe the sun is Apollo's chariot.
Anyway, I like the discussion but Comfort's reasoning is so simplistic. Basically he's saying that he can't imagine anything but a god creating the universe so therefore it must have been a god.
