Just wow. The Fed is as secretive a society as the Skull and Bones. Why? Whatever happened to transparency in government and a free pre... oh, nevermind.

Transparency isn't always what it's cracked up to be. Sometimes it just means you get skullfuked in plain sight.

I don't see how we can have a serious left-wing/right-wing solution to out financial situation with this shit going on behind the curtains.

"Do you think that's a concidence?"

[pause] "Yes?"

Orwellian.

While it's fun to see Bernanke squirm with ass puckered, it's also sad for us. We remain the losers in this scenario.

There's no such thing as "left wing" or "right wing." There's the majority - us. And then there's the minority - the political barons, the corporate media, and the global production/distribution elite.

So instead of looking for a daddy or someone from above to deliver a solution for us, we can empower ourselves. Start by drastically reducing all dollars that go to the banks and corporations supported by the Fed.

Buy your food directly from local farmers. Buy used clothes from locally-owned shops. Keep your money in a local loop so others can then buy your own goods and services. Your local economy can become more like a barter system.

Borrow and spend locally without letting our money touch any financial institutions or multinational corporations. Or, at least, do the best we can.

Starve the behemoth. That's the only message it understands.
