You know I very much enjoy PTBS for the humor and often scoff at their political positions. No wonder that this episode ought to be any different.

How could a 'devout Christian' believe something that clearly conflicts with his precious bible?

Oh, I know...he's one of those "pick and choose" Christians...like 99% of them.

But they only charge $40 per year for their "rapture insurance", which basically consists of a server that's ready to fire off your last "I told you so's" to your sinful friends a few days after the rapture. I think there's way more potential in this genre of business. And judging by the overflowing tithe plates at the megachurches it's not too hard to pry money out of tight Christian fists, if you come up with a good God angle.

Here's a business model to try: Let's call it the "Rapture Plan B Consolation Package" It goes like this, you give us thousands of dollars per year, and we'll pay you millions of Dollars if you don't make the cut on Rapture day. With that payout you can buy some human children from your evil neighbors, and when you drink their blood, you'll get a promotion to a higher station of Hell, thus avoiding the less pleasant "entry level" positions. That way you've got both your bases covered, that is if you're pious enough to be pretty sure you'll never have to make a Plan B claim. And you can give us your money anonymously, so God won't know you're doubting your own faith.
