Aesop and Son: The Hare and the Tortoise
Circa 1962, Jay Ward Productions, RT 5:36.

This was a segment on the "Rocky and Friends" show. This show had a philosopher teaching his son the ways of the world in silly stories.

In this episode, the story of the tortoise and the hare is reenacted yet again.

Finally, I could yet again add the Bunnies and Rabbits tag to a link.

Hey, if that's what trips your trigger! ;-)

Personally, I loved this clip because I kind of forgot about the series within the series. Of course, I fondly recall Peabody and his boy Sherman, Dudley Do-Rite, The World of Commander McBragg and others.

And did you recognize the opening music? It's the exact same as Fractured Fairy Tales. Imagine that.
