The ongoing search for the most annoying, desperate for attention, and unnecessarily rich person is moving to Florida with tonight's season premiere of "Miami Social" (Bravo, 10). The hunt, spearheaded by Bravo, has so far taken us across the country, from the lavish homes of Orange County to the spiteful housewives of Atlanta and, most recently, to the NYC too-cool-for-Prep-school scene.
"Miami Social" follows the lives of seven wealthy South Beach professionals "that work hard and play even harder" -- and will bother you even more than Kelly Bensimon in a two-person conversation.
Are they desperate for attention? Check. Two of the cast members have been on other reality shows before ("The Apprentice" and "Big Brother 2"). Annoying? Rich? Unfulfilled relationships due to the inability to consider other people's feelings? All of the above.
Bravo is getting warmer. If you don't already hate people, watch this series debut and you surely will.
On TV Tonight:
The Superstars (ABC, 8)
Great American Road Trip (NBC, 8)
Big Brother (CBS, 9)
NYC Prep (Bravo, 9)
Primetime: Joe Jackson Interview (ABC, 10)
Rescue Me (FX, 10)
