Re: The Hypocratic Party
You seem to be one of the exceptions ... (rating is around *** now)
(I nearly rolled off my chair laughing while I watched this, but, admittedly, I got a sense of humor not duplicated in nature.)

Re: The Hypocratic Party
It's the End of the World as We Know It is a program that's quite unpopular to the mainstream masses because its message embodies the current Counter Culture. And this brand of freedom makes the average corporatized viewer uncomfortable.
Were we in 1968, these other folks would be hanging out at their franchised malt shoppe wearing fraternity or letterman sweaters wanting to play the latest Paul Anka (er...Lily Allen) only to find Jimi Hendrix tearing down their favorite booth. And that madness doesn't compute for them. Yet.
Which is totally okay. Not all folks are ready to demand real freedom and so they fear it. They haven't reconsidered that we are the majority. We have the power.
We don't need a daddy or savior to rescue us. The power is within ourselves. We can begin today by no longer giving our money to major corporations.
We can cancel our cable. Stop buying mainstream media news. Get our food at farmer's markets. Ride a bike when we can. Never buy anything made overseas. Never buy on the internet and keep all our ducats local in our communities.
Kick the moneychangers out of our government and let the corporations tumble and perish, their warehouses full of rotten goods. That's the only way we'll ever see "change."
We have the power to starve the Leviathan and save ourselves by going militantly local.
And we will actually make everything better. Much better. It's all up to us.
Let's raise our heads and see beyond where the corporate media tells us to look. Perhaps the real view will be spectacular.
It's a bit like riding a motorcycle. You go where you look.
