in my high school years I followed the path that would give me the most and the most difficult maths that they would give. That level or one below the level I did is asked for almost all scientific studies on college level, yet you get no statistics whatsoever, apart from mean and meridian. That is just the tiniest tip of the iceberg. Every scientific college study has a large statistics course because this is not done in the high school maths classes. Even though it is more useful maths and easier than most of the maths given in high schools.
