It's refreshing to see people talk about issues instead of shouting talking points loudly over one another. I still don't see much headway here, though. But I think after maybe 13 years old everyone I knew had made up their minds about this. I never expect to convince anyone on abortion.

I don't understand how Huckabee can make this argument when he supports the death penalty (maybe "reluctantly," but he still has supported it. 17 people in Arkansas while he was governor were executed). Life has extrinsic value to Mr. Huckabee, not intrinsic value. It can be lost when one commits particular crimes.
