Greed? How about unbridled stupidity? Junk food is profitable because people BUY it. Credit companies charge high rates because people USE credit. Health Care makes a buck because people ABUSE their own bodies. The penal system is brimming because people BREAK THE LAW. These things don't exist in a vacuum. What Maher is really saying is you're too stupid to know better. Typical paternalistic liberal posing.
