Anyone who has ever been in the remote wilderness in the middle of the night knows that indeed you really can see this, and it's fantastic, but I think that this sequence benefits a bit from an overexposure of the film.

I camped on the summit of Mt. Rogers in Virginia Dec. 1st. I cold front had just rolled in and at 5700 ft. it was below zero. Makes for uncomfortable camping, but the sky mad it worth it. It astounds me the number of people I meet and interact with who have never experienced (forgive the cliche) the beauty of nature. There are not many places in the US very far removed from nature and wilderness, and there's no excuse. Anyone on here live near Asheville, NC or Boulder, CO?

I have never seen a milky way like this, not even close... Fuck new york, I've got to camp out in the desert.
