Man imitating Nature with amazing results, once again.

Problem is, this prototype would need a really long power cord to rescue a fallen mountain climber. ;-)

A friend of mine was working on something like this for the military to be used as a surveillance camera that can put itself in place. If anyone asks you didn't here that from me though.

Whenever I see any of these, I always think of them placing bombs, cameras, smallpox, etc. I think it just comes from watching so much GI Joe/007 as a kid.

Actually it shows that the machine can work without chord.

But even without, getting back seems to be a major problem.
