World peace is a little "old lady idea?" Because everyone knows that as women age they lose the ability to think critically about real issues, and they divert their attention to things like knitting and collecting teapots and wishing for world peace. It's sad to me that even an educated, socially responsible guy like David Lynch can't introduce a quantum physicist without making a casual insult to women.
