Letterman: Gary Busey in His Prime, 1990
Gary Busey is truly an original. When he appeared on talk shows, you were guaranteed a wild and unpredicable ride. A fine musicain and composer, he'd often grab his guitar and sing a rousing rock and roll anthem, or a soulful ballad, usually of his own composition. He also has one of the quickest minds in show biz, which made him a fun foil for Dave, who's head Gary liked to fuck with. GB coulda been a great comedian too. Listen to this improvised tale of his life on the farm.

Description is lacking "Bat-shit crazy, even before he got his gray matter rearranged".

I don't mean to be cruel, but's ironic how he's discussing helmets and "re-fries" his brain by not wearing one. Definatley a "genius" type person

gah! The clip cut short just as he was going to discuss Predator 2!

Gary Busey had an amazing mind, though I fear at some point he crossed the threshold to the insane.

Though perhaps it is simply that I can no longer comprehend his genius, and that he now exists on a higher level.
