Not Working?
Academy Award nominee for best short subject. Directed by Robert McKimson, 1957. RT 6:32.
The fastest mouse in all of Mexico sped onto screens with his first appearance in 1953's Cat-Tails for Two by Robert McKimson. Two years later, Friz Freleng and Hawley Pratt did some work under the hood and revved up the newly designed - and faster than ever - speedster mouse who emerged - faster than ever - in the Academy Award winning Speedy Gonzales. Constantly at odds with "gringo pussy-gato" Sylvester, Speedy remains a hero to his countrymen mice - especially his lethargic cousin Slowpoke Rodriguez.
