When Jeremy Clarkson was able to complete a lap of the track in a Jaguar in under ten minutes, he was boastful. His instructor, Sabine Schmidt, said she could beat that time driving a delivery van.

50000 laps of the ring at 10 minutes per lap works out to almost exactly one year driving on it.

Well sure "almost exactly" if you don't count the other 2560 laps at 10 minutes each. =P
Just kidding Faffy, thanks for the stat, that's a heck of a long time driving around the same track at high speed. That's an old episode so she could be over the year mark by now if her count of fifty thousand laps was accurate.
