It's not uncommon for kids in college to do unpaid intern work as a part of their college credits. It seems to me that the interviewer came in with a particular goal in mind and nothing she said would deter him from that goal.

He's a lousy interviewer. He kept ignoring the things she said that destroyed his entire attack.

Note: I don't like Pelosi but, that interviewer stunk out loud. He should work for Fox.

I dunno. I think the interviewer's point is that our public servants (the majority of whom are millionaires who receive free taxpayer-supported universal healthcare) ought to pay their interns at least a minimum wage.

Heck, make these elected servants buy their own healthcare (just like the rest of us do) and then Pelosi, et al can easily raise the pay of their interns to be equal to that of the guy who gets your McDonald's fries.

And whether you like this guy or not, I miss journalism that wasn't strictly about kissing the asses of our public servants and regurgitating their press releases as "news."
