oh god i hate the glitches! LoL. like one time i walked in the fishing shop and i came out of the game shop..and i was on the other island and when i walked on this certain area it took me back to the other island! AHH LoL
and i couldn't get the monkey game. i couldn't get past the 1st jump! the 2nd jump was too far!

That monkey game sucks!!! The highest score I've gotten is 8775. How the hell are you supposed to get 100,000??

its dumb. I'm guessing you need to jump through 18 hoops in a row and get a score of 10000 to get the grand total of 100,000. the only problem is the play control sucks so much. Its too easy to run right off the ledge.
My other complaint is there doesnt seem to be any other way to earn money other than to play that retarded slot game over and over again. Who has the patience for that?

You can get money if you go fishing. Buy a rod and the last type of bait from the fishing shop.
I have found that the best place to fish, before getting the boat, is by the light house.
Then go to the chef and sell the fish. The best kind of fish is the "Blue Stripe" fish. You can get over 2000 coins for this one.

It is easy when you get the hang of it. My best so far is 155,713,110. At the same time though I am still sometimes only getting 2,000 on some runs. Try to ignore the messages that flash up on the screen. When I was starting with the game they really put me off. Just keep going at it and you will get the score you need.

If you need some help on the Monkey-game search for Samba di Mausland (shameless plug... i know) on this site. It'll train you to ignore the stupid messages and concentrate on the game.

to get money you can also fish, which is quite lame.
and the glitches make it too hard to play the game i think. i have tried it 6 times and gotten stuck each time.

There are some methods for getting out of the glitches.
1. If you are stuck in a room go back to the person you were talking to and talk to them again and click the "retreat" button.
2. If you get stuck while fishing hit the "Q" key.
These are all the methods I have found so far.
I know what you mean though. It might have been a good idea for them to hold back on the release to get rid of a few of the bugs.

the monkey game is fun! just hold down the right arrow with one finger, and push up with the other, just keep going nonstop. get into the rythm and you can go forever! oh and aside from the glitches, i also love the spelling mistakes!

For the monkey game, I recommend turning down detail to 'low' because all the pop ups sometimes slow down the game slightly, but since the controls suck, that slight slow down gets you off any rhythm.

even with the detail down and the fastest computers, it still takes a lot of patience to get it right. so unless you give in easily, stick to it.
on a different note, does anyone know if there is a reward for finishing that driving game in the arcade? I haven't beaten it yet, but I figure anything is worth exploring.

i got 356,000 in the monkey game. you just have to keep pressing right and up in the same pattern, and if you get the right feel its pretty easy.

I can't help you with the sister, but the bluestriped can be found on the west coast of herbaland. you have to wander through the maze to get there, but you just need to wait there and you'll catch them in no time.

as for the bluestriped, make sure you use the most expensive bait when fishing for them.

The girl's sister is the one who lost the bracelet. She is afraid to go home since she lost her grandfather's gift. see *SPOILER* above.
The best place to fish for blue stripped fish, IMO, is in the corner right beneath the rent-a-yacht girl. They will usually go left to right at a slight incline starting from the middle of the left edge. You will need the red lure to catch them.
After you catch maybe 6 of them, you go straight up, over the bridge and have one meal made and sell the other 5. you should have anough $$ to take care of the rest of your needs.

Hehe... i played that game on newgrounds, took me about 2 hours... well, not counting the time i spent getting my overly-sick score on monkeydude :P never thought of dropping the quality level =D...

The aliens were obviously short on BRIANS.
You can neither ask anyone for help NOR can you call THe aliens for help even though you've been around the island TWICE.
Traversing this ROCK can be a pain.

I ran into another glitch...when you eat a fish meal, the energy bar will not leave the middle of your screen (making it hard to most anything) the only way I've found to get rid of it is to play the monkey game

I just played it and got 11,165,990,980 on my third go.:p
Plus i managed to complete the game without the bracelet.
The tech guy in the arcade gave me the same pic after I had uploaded it, and i uploaded it again.... and it worked, even though I had the bracelet one?!?!!
