Penn & Teller invite some children on stage to observe them freezing mice with liquid nitrogen. Alexei Sayle performs stand-up then Penn shows him how dying on stage is really done. Teller performs slight of hand while Penn explains how it's done. P&T perform the world's most expensive card trick. At the end of the show Penn & Teller swear on their mothers graves that they have never and will never use camera tricks to perform magic.

I'd love to say that his stand up was "just that wacky humor" they have over there but it's not. You're right, it was terrible.
