Mormon Comedian/Storyteller Elna Baker shares a rejection story at The Rejection Show at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in NYC.

The ending does indeed make her story worth hearing. (don't skip ahead - it's worth the buildup... :)
But the vastly more interesting aspect (to me) was her honest account of the cult mindwashing by Mormons. It's fascinating to see that Elna has no self-awareness whatsoever in telling the cutesy story of a seemingly benign prejudicial indoctrination that churns out adults who live like children, turning away from Enlightenment and limiting their exposure to the "unclean" who don't share their highly particular belief system. The same can be said about many religions, of course...
And I especially enjoyed her, er, "accent" when she talked, um, "Black" to tell the story of a single mother on the subway. Of course that may not help the stereotype of the racist Mormon...

I don't think it racist to imitate someones accent.

Hey, I hear ya. And you may be right. I was just saying how it appeared to me. Albeit I watched it at 1am so that may have made Buckingham a little less lucid than normal. Wait. Am I ever lucid...? :) Anyway, I may have been reaching.
And her clip is still worth a watch. And definitely let it build because it's got a great finish.

I don't recall her mentioning the woman being black, so maybe you're the one being racist by stereotyping :)
