Excellent documentary. Any thinking human being can see for him- or herself that America is a fascist state. WWIII can't be far off.

Anyone who thinks we aren't living in a science fiction future isn't paying attention.

That said, I don't know that it's the "United States Government" driving this global agenda. I suspect the US Government is an employee just like the rest of us, getting paid to carry out the will of a corporate power structure that aims to further consolidate wealth and continue to create the global worker.
And speaking of creating the global worker...
Teen Screen! I was interested to see this doc mention both the "Teen Screen" and the "Assent Form" that our children sign right before they provide intensely personal information collected in our schools by corporate/gov't-sponsored "surveys." All without their parents' knowledge...
This process plus the info from No Child Left Behind was utterly spot-on. I know it's my link, but this research ties first-hand into the well-documented corporate powers' destruction of American critical thinking education through Outcome-Based Education (like NCLB) over classic knowledge-based education.

p.s. Putting microchips in our products to track where and how we use them? That's already done. And a national ID card that tracks biometric, financial, and health info? It's in use in the UK and with soldiers worldwide already.

Appreciated on the supporting documentation. And the [undeserved] kudos. Hey... I just had some great coaches here before me who guided me along.
You know, looking at the eighth anniversary news today, I realize that I got here almost a year and a half since the dawn of this joint. Ask anyone about how lame my first couple of years were in terms of submissions.

I have plenty of my own healthy (and unhealthy) paranoia, and have written about it extensively. I have high suspicions about what really happened on 9/11, about the Bush/Cheney administration's real motives and goals, about FEMA camps, about the Posse Comataus Act, about RFIDs in passports and national ID cards... There's a lot in this video that I agree with.
But with that said, I also think it's going a few steps overboard. Maybe it's just that the creator is trying too damn hard to push the spooky vibe, right down to the impending doom music throughout. Maybe it's that every "expert" interviewed looks like they walked straight out of [insert name of fringe Protestant fire-and-brimstone evangelical scary church here]. Maybe it was the beginning with several statements about attempts to "kill religion" and experts saying "atheist" as though it were a synonym for "satanist"... Whatever it was, it put me on guard and made me a little more aware of the (heavy) religious fundamentalist undertones. This video could easily fit right in as standard curriculum in fundie parochial schools (where I spent too many years of my childhood).
I want to ask every "expert" in this movie just one question: What church do you go to? I highly doubt that there is an agnostic or atheist among them, and would fully expect each of them to believe wholeheartedly in the "end times" and it's immenent arrival, believing that each item they discuss is yet another sign that the end of days is nearly upon us.

However, the one thing that scares me more than America's growing facism are the growing numbers of willfully ignorant, closed-minded, bible-thumping zealots. Despite their arguments to the contrary, their utopia is just another flavor of the same Orwellian state.
