Pan's Labyrinth: The Pale Man
A nightmarish scene from Pan's Labyrinth (2006: Guillermo del Toro). In fact, many single out this scene as the film's most memorable.

Re: Pan's Labyrinth: The Pale Man
Did you find the full movie after you'd posted the clip?

Re: Pan's Labyrinth: The Pale Man
No, before. I rarely do that, but the rules allow it. The film's link is dead, which was reason for me to submit this excerpt (and its inherent merit, of course).

I admit this practice can be abused, but that serves no purpose. If done in moderation, it does have value. For example, I submitted quite a few Louis Theroux documentaries, and sometimes snippets from these are submitted as separate links. Again, they are no problem as long as they are submitted in moderation. I think they do point new visitors or users to (related) stuff in the database.

Naturally, if someone went ahead and submits part 1 to x of Religulous (to name an example), that counts as a duplicate. If someone now submits half a dozen scenes from Religulous, people will think you're unoriginal and/or lazy. Soon, Religulous will get pulled off the Net and I'm sure some will post excerpts from it here. I won't cry. We all learn from each other here, and watching a video here may lead me to submitting related stuff, all the while taking care not to step on anyone's toes. For example, Spam recently submitted Foghorn Leghorn links, which gives him a certain territory. Of course, I reserve the right to do the occasional incursion, which can be fun. Who doesn't remember Bugs Bunny War I and Bugs Bunny War II, among other massive M&C conflicts (and everyone remembers how I won all of them easily ...). Yes, half the Internet is aware of M&C being the cream of the crop, but many prefer to watch face-planting morons nonstop.

Says you, that the Wolf won these wars. Want to check on those accumulated totals again?

Just kidding. I don't consider it a competition here so much as enjoying what others post.

As for territory, I used to be somewhat protective but as my friend Pod put it... "We all drink out of the same cesspool."

I didn't mean that as criticism. All hail W_W. I was just curious why you chose to post the clip in stead of the movie. Sick burn, Spam.

But watch how she pops that grape in her mouth. Surely, that alone makes it all worth it?

Seconded.
