John is one of the most unappreciated and underrated comics out there. It's nice to see him slimming down and still going!

First time I've seen him -- he's great.

Reminds of old-school comedians in that he's adopted a kind of exaggerrated persona for the point-of-view of his stories -- but occasionally, the smart, ironic comedian behind the caricature reveals himself...

Really good stuff -- well written and conceived.
