Re: The Envelope Generator: 80s Synth Medley
You make a solid point. If they attended Renn Faires they might actually find equally awkward and lonely females with whom they just *might* procreate. Rock on, dudes.

Back in the 80's maybe. Today that stuff might be found at a garage sale.

Re: The Envelope Generator: 80s Synth Medley
The Triton alone (and I think it's a Triton XL since it's black) is 3 grand. The Micro Korg (I own one myself) is worth about 400 bucks used. The M-audio is worth about three bills, I don't know the specific model of the Roland so it could be from 500 to 1500 depending, and I don't know the ballpark price of the keytar or ARP Axxe.

Those are all today's prices used or new out of the box. Most of that stuff isn't very old at all.

Re: The Envelope Generator: 80s Synth Medley
Speaking as a professional musician and educator, I can tell you this: Their "time" (ability to play in a consistent tempo) is pretty bad, especially in the beginning. They definitely need to spend more practicing with a metronome. It is quite painful to listen to them try to lock with each other an fail so badly.

what a dumb comment.

Re: The Envelope Generator: 80s Synth Medley
It's not a medley.

They just play different songs in succession.

I was expecting some sort of flow and creative combination.

Re: The Envelope Generator: 80s Synth Medley
They have exactly 0 stage presence, which is a shame. That was an excellent Domo Arigato Mr. Roboto near the end there.
