I did something similar 15 years ago with a program called Gryphon Morph and images of dead presidents on currency. The stills came along with the software (I think it was a freebie that came with the Snappy video capture device) as well as a bit of a tutorial on lining up points. I bet someone else did it and it's on YT so I don't have to go searching through thousands of archived CDs and the like.
