My initial thoughts were to simply comment on the wonderful humor of the 'egg trick', not to say anything else... Oh, and it WAS Awesome!

I DO observe from years of browsing multiple forums on the internet, that it is definitely a 'Mindset' to use almost any forum (save those of scientific nature which are commonly debated, thus rendering enlightenment) as a catapult to create agitation.

I believe humanity has always been inclined to have this type of behavior though, like quarrels in groups dating back from the first forms of governing institutions all the way up to today's town hall meetings and UN disagreements.

It's just that this nature to desire initiating and perpetuating quarreling is made more obvious here in the virtual world of the 'Super Information Highway.

Subsequently, it can be observed and concluded simply by watching how forum threads turn sour, why from tiny social groups all the way up the ladder to the nations of the Earth are forever at loggerheads with each other.

As for the wonderful world of ''comedic' television of the eras of the 60s, 70s and 80s, there were indeed many brilliant individuals like Johnny Carson, Carol Burnett, Tim Conway, etc., who could and did make us all forget the harsh realities of our true selves, if only for 30 minutes at a time; and for that I will always be grateful. I didn't even need brain medication as long as I could be in their worlds for awhile...he he.

It was a neat trick! Especially for the Dom! Johnny palmed that egg early on showing what a smart magician he really was. Just about all comedians are owed a debt of gratitutdue for making us laugh out loud for so much of our lives, even the one's with political opinons we disagree with. I just make a mental note I disagree and move on, or if it's that hard on my preferences, change the channel. By the way, that's why they give us different channels, because we don't all like the same things?
