Re: Mike Huckabee Interviews Bill Maher
Having seen Huckabee on Real Time at least a couple of times, it's very interesting to see the roles reversed.
That said, both men are respectful of each others' opinions and remain civil while in disagreement. That's admirable.
Oh, and both are affable, personable and appealing orators.

Re: Mike Huckabee Interviews Bill Maher
And all this on Fox, which makes it even more amazing. (Granted, I've seen a few other excellent interviews on Fox.)
Re: Mike Huckabee Interviews Bill Maher
It may be a little pedantic on my part but... I don't believe they are respectful of each others' opinions... Rather they respect the other's right to have a different opinion.
Respecting nonsense... as a rational person is not possible.

That pretty much sums up how I feel about this entire forum.

For your own sake, you should really just stop trolling. You're just wasting your time. If you want to try enlighten the forum and pull it up from its own miasma of ignorance, please go ahead. If you're just trying to throw out pithy one-liners in an attempt to dredge up outrage, well, I'm sure you've got better things to do with your time.

Of course. Sorry for being unclear.
These two are respectful of each other.

Re: Mike Huckabee Interviews Bill Maher
Religious beliefs aside, I like Mike Huckabee. I find him to be intelligent, articulate and even tempered. Too bad he's a Flanders.

Re: Mike Huckabee Interviews Bill Maher
I like Huckabee too, although my political values rarely intersect with his.
He's affable, respectful, and has a sense of humor. For these reasons, he makes a great conservative interviewer -- he could not be more different than people like Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly or Ann Coulter.
I would not at all like to see him as President, but I welcome him in his media role, and hope that he becomes something of a model for a new type of partisan commentator. I'm tired of the shrill bullies who shout down their guests (and no, I'm not much of a fan of Keith Olbermann or Michael Moore either, although they have their moments).

Re: Mike Huckabee Interviews Bill Maher
O'Reilly is hardly a conservative. In fact I think if you were to compare outlooks you'd find Huckabee is to the right of O'Reilly. O'Reilly is just a hardass and sometimes a blowhard.

Re: Mike Huckabee Interviews Bill Maher
Ah, so we find ourselves to be in agreement then!
Bill0 can be be despised for his on-air persona and not just for his views.

Re: Mike Huckabee Interviews Bill Maher
Huckabee is further to the right than O'Reilly, but that doesn't mean that O'Reilly is "hardly a conservative." You are probably one of two people who claim that O'Reilly isn't a conservative, the other being O'Reilly himself. Certainly, he is oftentimes a hardass and a blowhard.

Re: Mike Huckabee Interviews Bill Maher
If Huckabee had won the primary election, would McCain have gotten a show on Fox?
Re: Mike Huckabee Interviews Bill Maher
Sure, his show would've been called the Midnight Funditry, where all GOP ghouls hang out and feast on liberal brains they steal from the mortuary around the corner. Come and see.
Re: Mike Huckabee Interviews Bill Maher
Huckabee's civil manner and conduct makes him a perfect antidote to Or'ly and chubby boy.
thus, he will soon join pat sajak as former show host on fox
