The five most popular ways to stay warm in Alaska are
1. Shoot a moose, gut it, and bury yourself into its ribcage until the snow blizzard moves elsewhere.
2. Go out for a stroll through one of Alaskan's five villages or semi-towns, find yourself a woman who's out shopping (not for guns and ammo), and hook up with her in the local woods (bring a blanket 'cause those fir needles are a pain in her arse and you don't wanna hurt her if you can prevent it).
3. Rush into the local saloon or church and drink yourself into a stupor on alcoholic beverages or bible passages (you can do either no matter your whereabouts, saloon or church).
4. Brand someone a witch and burn her (or him) at the stake, dancing around holding hands with your fellow Alaskans. (It helps if you burn a she-witch and rip off her clothes prior to burning her. Instead of holding hands, you can hold boners, a popular pastime in Alaska and that brings me to No. 5)

Actually, there are some less popular ways to stay warm in Alaska, too. One of these involves Putin's rearing head in the sky (strictly reserved for the Governor) and hunting wolves from a helicopter. Another one is ice hockey, during which you can knock your opponents' teeth out and swirl around on the slippery blood. One that is close to the top 5 involves planning secessionist warfare with your buddies, and having orgies if someone was smart enough to bring women along.
