Not Working?
Vice Presidential candidate Joe Biden gave it to Florida WFTV anchor Barbara West Thursday when she asked him a slew of questions straight out of John McCain's talking points. West began the interview by asking whether Biden was "embarrassed" by Barack Obama's association with ACORN.
Barbara's husband, Wade West, is a political and media consultant for Republican politicians.

Re: Biden Angered by Tough Questions
tough questions, please! He's insulted that that idiot talking-head woman is taking the GOP's talking points--the misinformation they design to frighten and confuse idiots--seriously.

Re: Biden Angered by Tough Questions
The funny thing is, I would like to see one American that would say their jobs should not be protected, education and healthcare should not be accessible to every citizen, and people should not be appropriately taxed (depending how much they exploited their fellow citizens). However, every time democrats make such statement, republicans start talking about communism :)

Re: Biden Angered by Tough Questions
Yep, Biden got angry, and rightly so. Doggone it, that stupid cardboard woman bored the hell out of me, with her cheap talking points. She's one of those damn snobs.
By the way, she's a rubbish interviewer, as she clearly can't push aside her own bias.

Re: Biden Angered by Tough Questions
Probably a "news" anchor of one of thse Sinclair Broadcasting affiliates.
Read more about how they handled the 2004 elections in such an unbiased and bipartisan way:

Re: Biden Angered by Tough Questions
Oh that 'liberal' media...
How 'bout asking this level of questioning to our other VP candidate? Or should we continue to demean and pander to Sarah Palin asking, "What magazines do you read, sweetie?" Yeah. They're getting equal treatment. Oh ho ho...
Actually, WTFV is an ABC affiliate owned by Cox. Sinclair is equally corporate as Cox to be sure. But Cox is owned by the 49th richest CEO in the US. Conflict of interest? Nah... So this reporter's questions? That were clearly written for her which read so woodenly? They came on her wealthy CEO's letterhead.
And for the record, I wouldn't characterize these as "tough questions." When she says things like "Aren't you embarrassed...", the station's hackneyed bias is so obvious that it's, well, embarrassing for her to have to read them. These are GOP talking points that have already been answered a number of times.
And angry? I dunno, man. I thought he kept his cool.

Re: Biden Angered by Tough Questions
BHG, watch the last seconds again. Biden was angry. Not "erupting volcano" angry, but angry nonetheless. Maybe disgusted is a better word.
Re: Biden Angered by Tough Questions
The research on WTFV's ownership is appreciated BHG. I read somewhere on West's page at their site that:
1. She is the weather expert at that station.
-and-
2. They have other stations that they partner with, I believe two were mentioned to be Sinclair associated.
But as for the questions, they were spoon fed to her by her husband. I personally like how the TV station's management tells us how they prefer to ask hardball questions. Then we saw NextDylan's submission which included two segments of her interviewing McCain. Nothing BUT softball questions.
Forget reforming government. Reform all schools of journalism.

Husband: "Scrap what little remains of your journalistic integrity, bitch, or no more cock for you."
Wife: "Fine."
Wife: "Fine."
Re: Barbara West vs Joe Biden
Brilliant. I just watched her softball interview with McCain to compare with her rantings with Biden. And now it all make total sense...
But "c*ck, W2?! She ain't getting any from him. He *is* a Republican after all... He's more likely out there gettin' it on in a public men's bathroom or with an underage page or with male prostitutes just like his fellow Republicans Larry Craig, Mark Foley, Ted Haggard, Bob Allen, Glenn Murphy Jr., and so on and so on.
Who knew Republicans were so, well, fabulooooous!? Not that there's nothing wrong with that. If only they allowed the more conservative gays who prefer marriage to anonymous sex to practice legal monogamy rather than this Republican hedonism of public sex and prostitution.

Re: Barbara West vs Joe Biden
Nah, these GOP suckers like illicit adventures. It perfectly fits their ideas of "trickle-down" economy ...
Meanwhile, all those Mrs. Uptights sit at home, polishing pearl necklaces (or sending the electric bill through the roof, provided they use rechargeable batteries) ... Joe the Plumber smells business.
Yes, that's the modern GOP in a nutshell.

Re: Barbara West vs Joe Biden
Holy Smokes! There shouldn't be any controversy here - her questions were awful. She imbued every question with her personal opinion or perspective. A judge would bust her for leading a witness. Where is Ron Paul? Can we write him in? Please?
