Bonomo Turkish Taffy was one of my most favorite candies when I was a kid.

This commercial was from mid 1950's.

That's a strange letter "b" they displayed at the end. It looks like a mosque or is perhaps meant to be a phallic symbol. The accompanying girl's voice makes the latter more probable. I know the Fifties were terribly prudish, and only through surreptitious deviltry was anyone able to vent his or her fertile mind.

Sure, well it looks like an Onion Dome, but those things always looked overtly phallic to me. My favorite part is the "smacks like, cracks like" line. Smack and crack!
