Interesting interview, though I had hoped that Stone would say more on the presidential candidates.

He said twice - three times - that he made three films about Vietnam to influence an avoidance of something like Iraq and he said that Americans like cowboys who don't back down.
I think he was verbally shrugging there, suggesting that he isn't going to stop trying to influence people, but that he doesn't really expect that he will be efficient.
I can't blame him if that is the case since some Americans I know still insist that W is and always been an excellent president.
Personally, I am in the UK and I am registered as an overseas voter, we'll see if they let me vote for Obama.

That makes sense. Anyway, enjoy your tea. You know, Americans should start to wash down tea regularly; it makes you win wars ;-) Stop drinking Belgian beer, which only makes you swagger on your feet.
