Penn and Teller: NASA is Bullshit!
They put a man on the moon 40 years ago, but what has NASA done for us lately? The Space Program doesn’t seem to have the appeal it did back when there was a race going on. But let’s face it, space is downright boring. How did NASA screw that up? Well, it turns out PR isn’t the only thing they’ve screwed up. So can they make space travel sexy again? In this episode, we travel to the far reaches of Huntsville, Alabama, where we talk to a couple of kids visiting the US Space and Rocket Center. We also talk to a former astronaut, a physics professor, and an ex-NASA mission control guy. See? At least we know how to get all sexy on you. So will our love affair with the final frontier be rekindled, or will it go out not with a big bang, but with a big whimper?

As a former space-age kid (my parents even encouraged my interests... everything but letting me drink Tang instead of orange juice, they called it piss water with a little vitamin c in it), I found this episode completely enjoyable. Even though a little light on the science side, that's not Showtime's target audience in this series anyway.

NASA is awesome! But, yes, since its a government institution it tends to be a sinkhole for tax dollars.
But compared to what else my taxes have paid for (stupid wars and bridges to nowhere) then its nothing to worry about... because NASA is awesome!
