And did you see the news today? The $700 billion dollar bailout looks to be going through.
This is a financial coup against the American people and their avalanche of protests almost unanimously against it.
We're just printing money that has no value. This action will literally have the same effect as post-WWI Weimar Republic Inflation in Germany.
Plus this Socialist Bailout is only a last-minute grab by the very rich to take these fading US dollars so they can buy gold, land, and foreign investments before our monetary system becomes completely valueless.
It's just a pass to allow the very rich to continue being very rich.
We need to take our money out of this Socialist Bailout, out of Iraq, out of tax-breaks for the rich and put our tax dollars into a New Deal plan to create new jobs in the green and alternative energy tech industries in our own nation.
This is technology we can export around the world to reduce our trade deficit and benefit everyone to both improve the environment and alleviate international dependence on Middle East oil.
And by bringing down our debt, developing alternative energy, reducing our dependence on foreign oil, and creating jobs, we’ll return the United States to its place as a “Shining Beacon on a Hill.”
And, just as importantly, we need to come together to close the Fed (a *private, for-profit* institution owned by multinational banks) to print our own money. Why should the US pay anyone to do what we should already be doing for free?
This Socialist Bailout only hurts the average American.
We're not building a strong foundation through this effort. We're only putting all our money and debt at the very top...which will only cause us to fall that much harder.

Kucinich gets less than 1:50 to speak on this matter that is of the utmost importance? What a show ... the same ritual is performed each time someone with integrity is speaking his or her mind -- and representing the People -- in Congress: they speak, they plead, they tell the truth, and it goes pretty much unheard. They are being systematically ignored by those in power. What a surprise.
