Congressman Ron Paul Schools Bernanke on the Bailout Plan
Congressman Ron Paul lectures Bernanke on the flaws of the bailout plan and the hazard of the attempt to fix prices versus letting them correct naturally in the free market at the Congressional Hearing today (9/24/08). Ron also questions Bernanke's authority and constitutionality of using the printing press to generate all this extra money needed for the bailout.

I think quite a lot of woodchoppers up in Canada are grinning widely now, but I wonder what the spotted owls are doing.

Well WW, I am both grinning and crying.
We Canuck 'socialists' are kinda laughing at how utterly absurd this whole 'bail out' business is. I am sure as hell glad its not my money they are using.

I'm so glad my passport says Canada. I'll take our BS over the 8 year fiasco from the south, anytime.
I dig Americans, but things do not look positive. Man... if they're economy caves... oh oh.

Re: Congressman Ron Paul Schools Bernanke on the Bailout Plan
near the end Bernake talks of the federal reserve act. This was passed in december 1913, when most of congress was not around, therefore it never officially passed, just like the 13th amendment (income tax). Both are completely unconstitutional, and for good reason. It's called usury.

Ron calls out them skanks like a pimp. Such a disgrace there aren't enough compassionate and intelligent people, like him, in politics.
Well... Ron Paul is more than welcome to come to Canada. We're full of idiots too, but we'd elect him for certain.
So burn, America. We'll be there to cherry pick your talent... or, least, take back our hockey players and comedians. You can keep most our musicians that you like. SHit. We'll even let ya keep Neil Young, Jim Carry and... Pam Anderson (she's mostly US plastic now anyway).
What's wrong? You don't like Heart of Gold? Really? You fucking serious? That song kicks so much feelin fine ass. Fuck it then. So much for being generous. We'll take him back; even if he's getting preachy in his later years.
