I have said time and time again, the US and the UK are not separate states, and the people who rule us are not in a publicly held office. Yeah, I was there about four years ago; that island isn't going anywhere due to erosion or lack of water supply.

What I don't quite get is why so many civilian contract employees can live there but the original inhabitants cannot.
