even Abe Lincoln was against prohibition. Prohibition of anything leads to deregulation, and problems. Marijuana can fix all of our problems except for the federal reserve. Hemp makes better fuel than petro. Henry Ford knew that, and continued to grow it after it was made illegal for use in plastics and fuel for the cars he built. It makes non toxic paper, as the paper out of wood gets mixed with sulfuric acid, which is toxic. It produces 4 times more paper per acre than trees do, and it's seasonal.
Those psychotropic drugs:
Did you know that all of the kids who pulled off school shootings were on them or just getting off? Prozac in particular, I believe, whose main component is sodium flouride (rat poison), which is now being put in 2/3 of america's water. The nazi's used it to make the jews docile in concentration camps.

Coolest creationist I know of.
Don't care if he worships Satan or his dog Skip -- the guy is an honest and fair-minded politician. Plus, he's an effective speaker. Crap. Is he ever good. I'd love to have him over for pie and a chat.
Ron's presence is inspiring when the whole system is looking so broke(n). One day, enough pissed off voters might affect the kind of change the country needs. That would be rad.
Especially, if Ron Paul's free market ideas do actually work (sure hope they could). Ahhh. Everyone making more money; less government meddling; living great lives... It would be super. Canada could eventually mirror the US model (albeit in the way only my country can BS it up -- employing too many government slacks and hacks).

I just don't understand how a doctor, someone with a PHD, someone who understands biology very well, can not believe in evolution.

I wouldn't underestimate Paul. The video that everybody seems to think proves Paul's denial of evolution is flawed. First of all, it has been edited. Stuff was deliberately left out. Two, in at least one political discussion, Paul said he believes in evolution. In all likelihood, he doesn't think this theory is the answer to all questions related to the origin of life. Three, he strictly adheres to the Constitution, which means you can count on him to keep Church and State separate.
Paul's religious beliefs (and pro-life stance) won't interfere with anybody's rights.

Even arch-conservative, William F. Buckley, Jr. understood that prohibition of marijuana is counter productive. Personally, if I can grow something in my backyard, it shouldn't be illegal. It's the largest cash crop in this country and our government can't come up with enough intelligence in these times of economic chaos to see that legalizing this one commodity could be the key to increased tax revenues, job creation and enormous tax savings at the same time. Not to mention that, since everyone has their DOC, at least this drug isn't going to kill anybody.
